Description
A list of addresses in Salzburg compiled for Vincent Novello and Mary Sabilla Novello's travels in the summer of 1829. They intended to meet Mozart's sister, Maria Anna Mozart, to present her with £63 raised by a subscription to which Novello contributed £10, while also conducting research towards a proposed biography of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven (which remained unwritten) and furthering the musical career of their daughter Clara Novello. Originally found as part of Vincent's Novello's travel diaries for his trip across Europe with his wife Mary Sabilla Novello in the summer of 1829.
