Description
Mr. Percy Metcalfe, riding a modern Dales working pony, carrying winter hay feed pannier-fashion up to a barn on the moors at Shoregill Head, near Gunnerside ( Swaledale).
This photograph was probably taken by Werner Kissling in July 1965, but no negative of the image or any other information can be found to confirm this.
