Description
Display of fourteen wooden needle supports in the Whitehead Collection at the Castle Museum, York, showing the evolution of this piece of knitting equipment. Includes supports made from twigs and rough branches, carved supports including some fancy work, and turned supports. Display labelled D. Unmounted.
