Walter Henry Brown (1851-1907), FRCS, was a surgeon from Leeds. He studied at Leeds Grammar School before beginning his medical training at the Leeds School of Medicine.

He held various posts at the Leeds General Infirmary, going from assistant resident medical officer (1877-1878) to assistant surgeon (1884) before becoming surgeon between 1890-1906. He also worked at the West London Hospital and the Leeds Public Dispensary. In addition, Brown was Demonstrator of Anatomy of the Leeds School of Medicine, between 1882-1887.
