Surrounding the central panel is a frame containing tools of liturgical figures seated above the abbreviated Christian phrases Apparuit ben., Ecce agnus d. and Data est mihi. The spine has four raised bands and in the second panel is a pared red leather lettering piece tooled in black with the words: Thesaur[i] sermone[s] de ann[...] 1487. The book has dark red cloth hinges and pastedowns of marbled paper featuring the peacock pattern in red, yellow, blue and cream. The upper and lower covers are fastened with two decorative metal clasps with pigskin straps catching on the upper cover. Size: 300 x 215mm. Leaf size: 282 x 200mm.
