Description

A cuneiform tablet of pink clay in a rectangular form with text on both sides, and a missing corner.

Described as a Babylonian cuneiform, the label states:
"Tablet containing lists of provisions, chiefly issued for working people; bread and other foods, with totals of the quantities, etc. Third Dynasty of Ur, reign of Bur Sin I, c.2200 B.C."

Housed in a custom made leather book shaped box with red velvet lining and metal clasp.
