Description

6 cuneiform tablets with descriptive labels, housed in University envelopes.

Kent's associate, Mr James Ogden, sent these and other cuneiform tablets to the British Museum in 1929 for analysis. They suggested the tablets are not from Khorsabad, instead 'Tall Jokha in South Babylonia, the Ancient City of Umma'. [modern day Dhi Qar Province in Iraq].

The accompanying list to the letter, both in the Ogden Collection, references 5 further cuneiform and a seal that appear to have been owned by Kent.

Dates may be based on original labels or estimations.
