Description
Typewritten report by a medical doctor of 99 Harley Street, London, dated 8 September 1941, based on an examination on 5 September 1941, noting that Maurice de Sausmarez was suffering from cardiac valvular disease caused by rheumatic fever in childhood. The doctor goes on to provide further details of the condition and suggests that de Sausmarez should not engage in physical exercise beyong short walks and should not carry any weights. The report is accompanied by an electrocardiogram and its results. The examination was carried out for the Military Service Medical Board.
