Description
The Bedford Collection copy A083 has five loose plates, unnumbered and untitled, including title page. The sixth loose plate is titled plate number 69, a summer house chair, and is from Robert Sayer's, The chair-maker's guide (1766): incomplete copy of Bedford Collection A065. It is the missing design from the first edition. Sayer used the original plates engraved for John Smith and added numbers 69-75 and the title, summer house chair.
