Description

Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of D. Edwards [David Edwards] with Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom at top of card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse obscure manuscript ink note.


Transcription: D. EDWARDS, Manufacturer of WRITING & DRESSING CASES To his Majesty THE DUKE OF YORK, &c. No. 21 King Street, Bloomsbury Square. Old Desks, Drefsing [Dressing] Cases &c, repaired or exchanged for new. NB, Cut Glafs [Glass], Silver, Fine Cutlery &c.
