Description
Highly pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of Taelman-Van Der Beeke, with circular panel in centre of card depicting two men with hammers in workshop encased in decorative cartouche. Above this, image of stove. Below this, image of companion set, circular stove and coal scuttle. Image of lock in top left corner and crossed keys in top right. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine with two tone coloured inks in blues and golds. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse.
