Handwritten and typescript correspondence, faxes and email printouts received mainly by Zygmunt Bauman [some are also addressed to both him and wife, Janina Bauman].

Most correspondence was found filed together in large volumes throughout the collection and roughly filed in chronological order [with some exceptions where described]. These have been subsequently consolidated and arranged in chronological order by year by the archivist. [Correspondence within the files may not be in chronological order - e.g. by month/date; but may be subject to further sorting].
