Papers of the Slingsby family of Scriven Park relating mainly to estates in the honour of Knaresborough but also to Bolton Percy, Harswell, Howthorpe, Hutton Rudby, Kirkleatham, Kirby Sigston, Moor Monkton, Naburn, Great Ouseburn, Stainsby and Staveley and to Cornwall, Devon, Durham, Kent, London and Somerset 13th-20th century

Includes deeds for many places 13th-20th century notably for lands of St. Robert's priory, Knaresborough [13th]-19th century. Some of these are published in Yorkshire Record Series 39 (1907), 50 (1913) and 111 (1946)

Including illuminated indulgences from St Robert's Priory, Knaresborough 15th cent, copy letters patent to Ripon School n.d., indenture re forestership of Knaresborough 1601, agreement regarding printing Coke's 'Institutes of the Laws of England' 1641, and a manuscript copy of the diary of Sir Henry Slingsby, Baronet, 1638-1649.
