Description

Compilation of Scottish folk songs (unaccompanied, some sung in English, some in Gaelic). The male and female singers are unidentified, and some of the recordings appear to have been made in one or more folk clubs(?)

Provenance

The provenance of this compilation is unclear. The tape box is labelled Song disc. It is possible that this tape is a copy of a selection of archive recordings originally compiled on one LP record by the School of Scottish Studies.
