George Bell, recorded at Winteringham; talks about his working life; being in service, starting farm work at the age of fifteen; working with horses at Keelby Grange (second to the Waggoner); job of Waggoner at Ulceby; describes the farm stable, care of horses and ploughs; job as Foreman for the Co-Operative; tractor driving; describes ploughing with horses; entertainment - yarns, melodeon, drink, songs, song sheets; describes a sail reaper; talks about the attitude of employers. Frank Hill, recorded at Winterton, talks about his working life; wages; joinery job on farm at Coningsby, repairing waggons, carts, wheels; blacksmithing - mending ploughs; describes farm jobs - ploughing, carrying corn; relationship with masters (farmers). [Tr. 4]
