Description
Compilation of field recordings made in Abbey Wood, Charlton, Plumstead and Swanley. Six informants sing a selection of popular love songs, including 'Dolly Gray', 'The Old Rustic Bridge', 'The Rose of Tralee'and 'Two Little Girls in Blue'. The singers are Spike Russell, Alice Ashby, Mrs. Parker, Rose Almond, Mrs. Kane and George Sabine.
