Description

Mr. Leslie Feather baking oatcakes on the hotplates of a coal-fired range in his shop, Haworth (West Yorkshire). The oatcake is detached from the first hotplate with a long slender knife before being turned over onto the second plate. A trolley for transferring oatcake dough onto the range stands next to the range in the background. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note.
