Description
Correspondence between Tom Shippey (Chairman of the School of English, University of Leeds) and Kurt Rydland, March 1989-May 1993, relating to Rydland's loan of and work on the Orton Corpus; correspondence between Tom Shippey and the North West Sound Archive regarding Orton's (and others) gramophone disc recordings in the Corpus, including a rough listing of items, February 1987; correspondence from Kari Haugland (Head of the Department of English, University of Bergen) to Chris Sheppard (Head of Special Collections, Leeds University Library) and delivery documents concerning the return of Orton Corpus items to Leeds University Library following Rydland's death, July 2003.
