Biography or history
Murray, Albert Victor (d 1967). Born at Choppington, Northumberland. Educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, and Secretary to the Students' Christian Movement. Conscientious Objector during the First World War, exempted from military service on health grounds. Later Professor.
