Description

Refers to Walpole and Charles, second viscount Townshend.

With drop-head title "Rufinus and Stilico".

The poem is followed by "Upon the first fit of the gout" (2pp.) and a blank leaf with "Advertisement" and unanswered catchword "The" on the recto.

The translator's introduction is addressed to Alexander Pope and signed: Nameless Name.

A revival of Claudianus's attack on Rufinus apparently against Walpole.

The final leaf contains an 'After-thought' and is sometimes bound after the titlepage.
