Description
The cassettes hold recordings with some of the leading figures in the field of Laban studies. There are eleven cassettes of interviews with choreographer Kurt Jooss, teacher of the legendary Pina Bausch and creator of the 'Green Table' (1932), a landmark in Modern Dance. These interviews constitute an intimate account of Laban’s work in Germany in the 1920s. Taken together his interviews offer a multi-faceted portrait of Laban. There are also audio tapes and transcripts of the interviews carried out by John Hodgson with colleagues, pupils and friends of Rudolf Laban.
