Note: (1) accepting an invitation to Fieldhead; reference to article on [Wemyss] Reid's account of Brontë-Heger relationship. (2) promising her husband will deliver Miss Nussey's C. Brontë correspondence to Scribner's in America, and also write a preface stating her motive for publishing them, if she agrees. (3) Sending her a new book on Brontë's, "Fact or Fiction"; she herself shrinks from the author's handling of the Heger episode and wonders what Miss Nussey feels about it.
