This item is an embroidered fragment of a towel end. It has a symmetrical pattern of flowers and foliage. This is trimmed at the edge of the piece of fabric with a narrow embroidered line in blue.

This is a raw edged embroidered fragment patterned with a spray of carnations. It has been worked using Turkish triangular stitch, stem stitch and satin stitch. It is reversible.

This item has been embroidered at both ends with a 19cm deep single floral spray. The embroidery uses double darning stitch, satin stitch and fishbone stitch. It is reversible.
