Notes in Italian in pencil manuscript on the front pastedown giving details of the edition.

Bindings

Binding of quarter vellum and pale brown paper over pasteboard. On the smooth vellum spine are two pared red leather lettering pieces. Tooled in black on the upper lettering piece are the words: Pauli Veneti Sophismata. Tooled in black on the lower lettering piece are the name and date: Bon: Locatel 1493. There is some slight damage to the tail of the spine. Size: 320 x 221mm. Leaf size: 315 x 210mm.

Cutting from a French sale catalogue on the front pastedown.

Coloured armorial bookplate of Sir Edward Allen Brotherton on the front pastedown. The book was most likely acquired before 17 June 1929 when Brotherton was created Baron Brotherton of Wakefield.
