Comprises 3 autograph letters from Canon John Cale Miller, 1 to the then Lord Mayor of London, Sir Sydney Hedley Waterlow, dated 12 March 1873, 1 to an unnamed recipient dated 22 April 1874, and 1 to F.S. Warren Esq. dated 5 July 1878 (with transcripts), 1 portrait photograph of Canon Miller, and 2 press-cuttings concerning his death and funeral extracted from newspapers for 11 and 17 July 1880 respectively.


The material was formerly bound into a volume containing also transcripts of the letters, which is now shelved in a separate author/alphabetical sequence following the main sequence of Miscellaneous Letters.
