Comprises 1 autograph letter from Sir William Fowle Middleton to Benjamin Brame at Bishopsgate Street, London, dated 16 May [n.y.] (with a transcript), 1 printed portrait of Middleton with his full name and coat-of-arms printed below the picture, together with the epithet, 'Of Crowfield Hall & Shrubland Park, Suffolk', and 1 printed portrait of Shrubland Park, Suffolk, 'The Seat of Sir Wm. Middleton, Bart.', drawn by J. Raw and sculpted by J.C. Varrall.


The material was formerly bound into a volume containing also a transcript of the letter, which is now shelved in a separate author/alphabetical sequence following the main sequence of Miscellaneous Letters.
