Description

Comprises 2 autograph letters from Robert Goff, one to Monsieur Bourcard dated 7 July 1912, the other to an unnamed recipient dated 4 March 1916 (with transcripts), and 2 etchings signed by Goff, one a 'Study on Ponte Vecchio Florence', the other of 'Riva di Schiavoni Venice'.


The material was formerly bound into a volume containing also transcripts of the letters, which is now shelved in a separate author/alphabetical sequence following the main sequence of Miscellaneous Letters..

Biography or history

Robert Charles Goff (d. 1922) was an army colonel and artist. For fuller details of his life and achievements see 'Who was who', Vol. 2.
