Description

Comprises 1 autograph of Hyde dated 10 August 1666 and 1 printed portrait of him engraved by J. Chapman and published in London by J. Wilkes on 28 July 1810. The bound volume also contains a typescript biography of Hyde which is shorter than that found in the Dictionary of National Biography.


The material was formerly bound into a volume which is now shelved in a separate author/alphabetical sequence following the main sequence of Miscellaneous Letters.
