Vol I [in two parts]: Forming a description of the manners of Petersburg at the close of the eighteenth century and containing various anecdotes collected during a residence of ten years in that capital, together with remarks on the education of the Grand-Dukes, the manners of the ladies, and the religion of the people. -- Vol.II: Containing a number of anecdotes and historical facts respecting, the Persian war, the march of the Russian armies against France, the disgrace and death of Suvarrof, the financial operations of Paul the First, his domestic life, and his tragical end. Followed by justificative state papers among which is the constitution for the Imperial family.
