Programmes for cultural events in Yorkshire

Description

The collection comprises:

1) Five programmes for events at Leeds Town Hall including two Industrial Concerts and performances by the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra and Leeds Choral Society, 1950-1954.

Also a programme for 'The land of the Christmas stocking' at Leeds Civic Theatre in January 1954. There are two programmes for musical events at the Ritz Cinema, Leeds, c.1954

2) Two programmes for the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra performing at the Playhouse Wakefield, 1950-1951.

3) A programme for an Aquatic Gala and Firework Display at the Open-Air Theatre, Scarborough. A programme for 'The Ballet Rambert' at the Opera House, Scarborough. A programme for events at the Floral Hall, Scarborough in 1956.

3) A programme for a performance of 'Murder in the Cathedral' by T. S. Eliot in the parish church, Normanton in 1951.

4) A programme for a conference on God and Evil held at Ackworth School in 1950.
