This selection of poems has been made by Harold Pinter and Stephen Stuart-Smith from Pinter's previously published works.

"The text of The disappeared and other poems has been designed and printed by Sebastian Carter of the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge. It is set in 14 pt Hunt Roman and the paper is 160 gsm Arches Vélin. The books have been bound and slipcased by The Fine Bindery in Northamptonshire. The plates in the text, reproducing paintings by Tony Bevan made between 1986 and 2002, have been printed by Expression Printers Ltd. The de luxe edition consists of seventy-five copies and twenty hors commerce copies, signed by Harold Pinter and Tony Bevan and numbered 1-75 and i-xx. With each copy is a signed and numbered original etching by Tony Bevan, printed at Hope Sufferance Press on 350 gsm Zerkall natural white. There are also ten artist's proofs, numbered AP i-x. The regular edition consists of one hundred signed copies and twenty-five hors commerce copies, numbered 76-175 and xxi-xlv.
