"The text of Tempest of Stars is set in 'Hot-metal' 14pt Garamond (156) 2pt leaded on Canaletto 160 gsm (fine). Typeset and letterpress printed by Gloucester Typesetting Services, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, and laid into solanders made by the Fine Bindery, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The twenty-six offset lithographic images were printed on 170 gsm Langham by Expression Printers Ltd., London N7 and David Austen's original etching was printed on 400 gsm Somerset by Colin Gale at the London Print Workshop"--Colophon.
"This de luxe version of Tempset of Stars totals eighty-five copies signed by the translator and artist. It has been printed in five [limited] editions, marked A to E, each consisting of fifteen copies for sale, numbered 1 to 15, and two further copies reserved for the translator and artist, numbered I and II. Each copy contains a signed original etching with the corresponding number. Edition A: 'ladder'; edition B: 'seahorse' ; edition C: 'rose' ; edition D: 'nude' ; edition E: 'crocodile' ... also published as a small format paperback (ISBN 1870612124)"--Colophon.
Box covered with cloth. White paper labels on box spine and front, printed in black; additional label on front printed offset with lithographic image.
Unbound, loose sheets; 26 offset lithograph colour prints.
