Description

A weave with broad black (indigo) warp borders and a central panel of all over elongated black and white ikat chevrons with yellow stripes, with synthetic wool decorative ends and twisted tassels. It is said to be given by an uncle to a nephew at the time of the nephew’s birth.

Purchased from a government craft centre.
