Biography or history

Max Farrar is a cultural sociologist, writer and activist, living and working in Leeds since 1968. Farrar continues to volunteer and write to this day remaining a prominent activist in West Yorkshire. He is an active board member at The David Oluwale Memorial Association (DOMA) and has also recently co-written Big Flame: Building Movements, News Politics (November 2024), a history of the revolutionary socialist organisation Big Flame, of which Farrar was a member from 1975 until 1984.
