Bedford Collection K097 copy comprises: vol 1 table indicative [title plate], 108 plates in 18 cahiers lettered A to S each with 6 plates; vol 2 has table indicative, T- Z each with 6 plates, then AA to MM each with 6 plates, NN to TT each with 5 plates, UU with supplementary 6 plates of trophies divers; then further suites of trophies: 1st cahier has 6 plates, 2nd cahier with 6 plates [one red], 3rd cahier 5 plates [1 red, missing plate 3], 4 cahier with 6 plates; second suites of trophies designed by Janinet comprising 1st cahier 2 plates, 2nd cahier 2 plates and 3rd cahier has 4 plates, all printed in red; vol 3`
First published in 1768, it was issued with an engraved title page (copied for the 1771 edition with a number of minor variations) giving the 'l'Auteur... M. Menan ... et ... De Laiai' as booksellers and Maillet as the printer.
