Comprises the autograph manuscript and revised typescript drafts of Morrison's poem 'Whinny Moor', together with a related autograph manuscript letter from Morrison to Michael [Holroyd], dated 15 September [1987].

Biography or history

(Philip) Blake Morrison, the poet, critic, journalist, writer of non-fiction, and novelist, Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, was born on 8 October 1950 near Skipton, Yorkshire, and educated at Nottingham University and University College, London.
