Papers relating to the 1999 Home Office campaign 'Domestic Violence: Break the Chain'. Documents include: an information leaflet about the campaign; correspondence; and two draft versions of the Home Office's 'Interdepartmental Guidance for Agencies Dealing with Domestic Violence', which Women's Aid made amendments to.
Biography or history
Home Office campaign in collaboration with the Crown Prosecution Service, the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, the Department of Health, the Lord Chancellor's Department, the Department of Social Security, the Welsh Office and the Women's Unit, published in January 1999. Some material in the campaign was adapted, with permission, from publications of Women's Aid.
