Papers relating to the partnership between Women's Aid and The Body Shop. Documents include; correspondence and working documents from the beginning of the partnership, c. 1993; a compilation of press cuttings relating to domestic violence by The Body Shop, c. 1995; publications and press relating to The Body Shop, c. 1990s; research documents, press releases and news articles relating to the 'Donate a Phone, Save a Life' campaign, 2004; working documents and publications relating to the 'fonesforsafety' campaign, 2004; research documents by The Body Shop on women leaving violent men, 2004; and The Body Shop Canada 'Violence Against Women' training package.

Biography or history

Women's Aid began working with The Body Shop c.1993 through donations. In 1995 Women's Aid worked with The Body Shop's design team to update their logo and branding for their publications. Some of the major campaigns both organisations worked on together include: the umbrella campaign 'Stop Violence in the Home', run in partnership with Women's Aid (England and Wales) and the Body Shop; the 'Donate a Phone, Save a Life' campaign, 2004; and the 'fonesforsafety' campaign, 2004.
