Description
Two typewritten letters from J.R. Lucas, Head of Shrewsbury School of Art, to Maurice de Sausmarez, requesting that de Sausmarez speak to a group of headteachers and art teachers in Shropshire about the enquiry 'Art and the Young School Teacher' of which he was Chairman. Lucas notes that he had heard de Sausmarez's talk 'Continuity and Innovation in Art Education' at Dartington Hall and would like him to repeat some of the points to the group. The second letter notes that Lucas had not yet received a reply from de Sausmarez.
