Description
Bedford Collection copy K096 vol 1 comprises 144 plates [of 156 or 26 cahiers each of 6 plates] including 6 plates from Nouveau cahier de pieds de tables avec ornemens et trophies. Photocopies of missing plates are bound in and some of the original plates are re-mounted. Plates engraved by Foin, Le Meunie, De St Morien, Hubert, Delagardette, Fay and others. Vol 2 comprises 109 plates and vol 3 comprises 117 plates.
Certain plates with booksellers'[?] ink stamps in vol 2: RM and vol 3: Auteur & Editeur J. Verchère 10. Place de la Bastille.
