Description
In the Bedford Collection copy K063, plates are watermarked 1810. The BAL [British Architectural Library] copy plates are also watermarked 1810. Most copies are dated 1812, although the BAL copy may be dated 1811 (see BAL record for notes about this copy). The plates were originally published in The cabinet dictionary (1803) and The cabinet-maker, upholsterer, and general artist's encyclopaedia (1804-1807). The imprint of William Stratford on verso of title page and page 12: Stratford, Printer, Crown Court, Temple Bar.
