Lithographed throughout.
Titlepage tinted, and printed in gold and colours; portrait frontispiece and preliminary leaf addressed to the Graces both tinted.
Numbering of plates and leaves very irregular.
Plates signed: Watteau invent. W. Nichol lithog.
With preliminary dedication leaf to "The Honorable the Commissioners Trustees for the Encouragement of Manufactures in Scotland under whose distinguished patronage this reproduction... has been offered to the artists of Great Britain, is now respectfully dedicated by The Publisher".
