Comprises the full record of the committee's earliest meetings, starting from 16 May 1946.


Dark red, ruled exercise book, with the title 'INFIRMARY ANAESTHETISTS COMMITTEE MINUTES MAY 1946-JULY 1955' written in ink on a piece of white paper and attached to the front cover. Inside the front cover there is a list of honorary anaesthetists, visiting anaesthetists and the reader in anaesthetics, detailing their name and address.

Physical and technical conditions

Binding is damaged and front cover is coming loose. Some of the loose papers throughout the volume are fragile and have damage from paper clips or pins. Also some damage from adhesive tape staining.
