White A3 landscape poster with red and black text and two illustrations of groups of women and children, advertising a march in Birmingham on 24 September 1977 to protest the lack of refuge services in the city. Main poster text reads 'Sept. 24 Birmingham. Battered women are marching to control their own lives. We demand: Refuges, Houses, Money, Legal protection. National Women's Aid Federation'. At the bottom-right of the poster is a London address and telephone number for the National Women's Aid Federation.
