Description
Bedford Collection A654 is incomplete: wanting plates 92 and 109, also plates 22 ter [101], 22 1 [102], 66 bis [103], 66 ter [104], numbers 102, 103, 104 cut out of later sequence: total of 122 coloured plates, plus title page by Destouches, Paris [Lithographer].
Title page and a number of plates are also different in design from Bedford Collection A652 copy i.e. plate 20 commode pan coupe is landscape with 1 design, in this edition it is portrait, colour and has 2 designs.
Running title on plates: Le Carnet No 1.
Plates designed by D Guilmard, Lithographs by Midart, Destouches, and Zamor.
