Description
Documents relating to Women's Aid groups and organisations affiliated to the Women's Aid Federation of England, working on a local level as domestic abuse services. Papers are organised geographically, going by the regional divions used by Women's Aid to organise their affiliated groups: Northern, North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, Midlands, East Anglia, South East, South West, Home Counties, and London. There are also general documents in the 'National Papers' file that look at affiliated groups in general.
Also covered in this series is Chiswick Women's Aid, which has it's own section, and Domestic Violence Forums, which often had representatives from local Women's Aid groups.
