Description

The title is taken from the title-plate. Originally issued in parts during 1812 and 1813. The imprint of Samuel Gosnell appears at the foot of the final page.

Plates 1-20 published by R Mercer, No. 230 Piccadilly; plates 21-43 published by J. Taylor.

Bedford Collection copy A617 has only title plate, 43 leaves of plates, and several plates are watermarked J Whatman 1823. RIBAL record states that this title remained in print until at least 1828. Bedford Collection copy A617 is presumably a later issue.
