[Side 1] Jim outlines typical year in sheep farming, incl. details of 'tupping' time [= mating time], use of 'raddle' [= red dye used to brand sheep], lambing time, 'provand' [= fodder], sale of fat lambs, hill grazing at 'backend' [= autumn], 'clipping' time [= shearing time] and selling wool in Clitheroe. [Side 2] Jim tells anecdote about April Fool's Day trick he played on local farmer.
