Description

[Side 1] Jimmy describes hunting with dogs, recalls incidents losing several dogs in fights with foxes and badgers. [Side 2] Jimmy recalls losing dogs hunting foxes, describes incident where he had to shoot particularly vicious badger after fight with five terriers.

Jimmy b. Thropton, aged 74; local school, whole life in Thropton except during WW1; father b. locally; mother b. locally.



Robert was not an informant asssociated with the Survey of English Dialects fieldwork in 1953.
