Description
[Side 1] Willie, Fred and Cliff recall sleeping above shed in Chillingham, hearing 'howlet' [= owl] in night, sleeping on straw mattresses, living off bread, cheese and tinned food, falling when building hayshed, memories of Chillingham sports. [Side 2] Mr and Mrs. Johnson and their son Fred compare wages now and in past, discuss saving up for married life, exchange opinions about ideal wife, refer to local custom of 'jumping over the petting stone'.
